Your Scout Group at a glance
ScoutBase brings together what your leaders and trustees need to know from Online Scout Manager, the Scouts membership system and Scouts RAM, and shows what needs doing next.
ScoutBase is being tried out with one Scout Group first. If your Group would like to use it, email hello@scoutbase.co.uk.
An example ScoutBase dashboard for a made-up Scout Group, showing young people, the waiting list, volunteers' learning, premises safety and trustee meetings.
What ScoutBase shows
Live from OSM
Section numbers, the waiting list and who's moving up, the bank balance, premises safety records, trustee meetings, and accident and incident counts. ScoutBase only reads, and checks OSM every night.
Trustee paperwork in one place
The local policies POR asks for, conflict of interest declarations, statutory dates and duties, and a board pack you can print.
Risk assessments with Scouts RAM
Keep a link to each assessment in Scouts RAM with its review date, and see at a glance which are due for review.
Private by design
Each Group's information is kept separate and stored in London. Names and contact details are encrypted, and trustees see totals rather than names unless the Group chooses otherwise.
On the way
These aren't built yet. They're next on the list, and they'll appear here once they work.
Coming soon: Charity Commission details
Your Group's entry on the charity register, with the dates its annual return and accounts are due.
Coming soon: Attendance and regulated activity
Who has been with young people often enough to need a DBS check, worked out from OSM attendance.
Coming soon: Consent and emergency contacts
How many young people in each section have consents and emergency contacts filled in. Totals only, never names.
Coming soon: Meeting minutes and decisions
Minutes, decisions and policy approvals linked to each trustee meeting in OSM.
